- Lisa Gluskin's poetry manuscript Tulips, Water, Ash was selected by Jean Valentine for the Morse Poetry Prize and will be published by Northeastern University Press/University Press of New England in October 2009. Lisa has poems forthcoming in Blackbird, Third Coast, and failbetter.
- Idris Anderson was one of 10 finalists for the Emily Dickinson Prize and winner of the May Swenson Poetry Award (judge: Harold Bloom); Mrs. Ramsay's Knee was published in late summer 2008 by Utah State University Press.
- Melissa Stein was a finalist for the Vassar Millar prize, a second place winner of the Dorothy Rosenberg prize, and just had a poem accepted by Crab Orchard Review.
- Zack Rogow has joined the faculty of the new low-residency MFA in Writing Program at the University of Alaska, Anchorage. Zack was a co-winner of the 2007 Tanka Splendor award. Zack's new book of poems, The Number before Infinity, was published by Scarlet Tanager Books.
- Robert Thomas's Baker's Daughter was a finalist for the Field Prize. One of Robert's Baker's Daughter poems appeared in the Summer 2008 issue of Southern Review.
- Diane K. Martin's Conjugated Visits was a semifinalist for the Wisconsin prize and finalist for the Field Prize. Diane's manuscript was also finalist for the Perugia Press Prize. Her poem "Conjugated Visits" received a Special Mention from the Pushcart Prize. She has two new poems forthcoming in New England Review.
